“Villages in the square!” – The best way to get to know us is to join in our village festivals: the grand festival in honour of Cosmas and Damian in Riace, the Palio di Ribusa in Stilo, the procession to the hermitage of Monte Stella in Pazzano… The whole village is out in the square, relatives return from afar, friends arrive from all over the valley, and the tables are laid out. Come along too: you’ll feel right at home!

“The Spirit of the East in the West” – We offer leisurely itineraries to discover the Byzantine treasures of the Stilaro Valley, the caves where Byzantine monks lived (the “laure”) and the ancient monasteries. Some caves have become places of worship and pilgrimage, such as the Hermitage of Monte Stella. Other places of worship are extraordinary works of art, foremost among them the incomparable Cattolica di Stilo.
